MY ART WORK:

WELCOME TO THE ART OF STEVEN HOUK
I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT

My Wife once observed that several people in the family had a talent for art.
After seeing some doodling I had done in the navy, she suggested that it
might be an inherited gift and that I might have some hidden talent as well.
On Christmas in 2002 I opened my gifts and was surprised to find nothing I asked for.
Instead all the gifts were art supplies. Oils, brushes, canvases, etc.
So after the New Year I got up the nerve to give it a try. I have a painting of a
road leading up a hill in Pennsylvania to my great grandfather’s log cabin.
Set it up and attempted to copy it. The result is the first painting below.
