 Welcome:
 
 I gathered more information
 on Charles than on anyone
 else in my family. Charles
 daughter kept everything she
 could from her father's life.
 Letters, books, pictures
 paintings etc. After Yvonne
 passed away all those records
 were passed down again, this 
 time to me since I showed
 some interest in the family
 history. This has now become
 an obsession. Please enjoy
 what I have created.
 
 In a small sleepy midwest
 town in central Illinois in
 1865 a  husband arrives at
 a depot he runs that ships
 supplies of beer from his
 family brewery in Belleville
 to around this and other
 surrounding states. He has
 with him a very pregnant
 wife. She had other children
 so it had to be expected. It
 may have been the trip that
 sent her into labor. So on a
 early autumn day in Centralia 
 Charles Thomas Heberer was
 Born.
