 She was the first Child to
 Frank Houk and Martha Prine.
 She was most likely born in
 California Missouri and
 migrated west with the
 family. In 1905 she married
 Walter Hicks in Clinton.
 In the 1920s Walter bought
 a small farm in Osceola
 Missouri from Eva's brother
 Albert Houk.
