 and traveled to the
 Dakota Territory.
 Settling on a farm in
 Yankton, August Like his
 brothers Albert and Rolla
 found a Wife and started
 a family. 

 He married Mildred Huber
 The daughter of an Iowa 
 farmer that also moved to

August was the son of Franklin Delinger Houk and Cora Isabelle Pace.
Mildred was the daughter of Joseph E Huber and Emma T Rothmeyer.

I am happy to have the marriage license.

In the years prior to meeting Mildred he worked for Georger Hinker in Woonsocket Sanborn Co SD.
I have info showing that they had at least two children.
While working in Flordia with my wife many years ago, I met with Jim and his family. It was a very pleasent visit.
